As our beloved pets age, they usually need a a little extra help. They might be slowing down a bit with creaky joints or they could develop a chronic illness. We want to be there for your pet through their golden years, making sure they feel their best and providing the care they need to stay healthy for as long as possible. We’re lucky to work with so many owners in the Everett community, offering quality senior pet care for dogs and cats.
When you bring your pet in for a senior wellness exam, the veterinarian will go over any potential health concerns with you as they arise. There are a few common diseases we look out for as pets age -- such as diabetes and kidney disease -- as well as less common ones. Part of the examination is physical, looking your pet over from nose to tail. However, we’ll also ask you about their habits and environment at home, including changes to their eating patterns or sudden weight loss.
Working together, we can identify the early signs of disease in your pet so that we can start treatments early. The sooner we know about a problem, the better the outcome for your pet.
Our team is here to make the appointment go as smoothly as possible, providing a calm and soothing environment for your pet. We always take the time to get to know our patients and their owners. The relationship we have with you makes providing top notch services for your pet that much easier. If you ever have any questions, please know that you can always call us or reach out.
